ELDEN RING
Flickering grass/foliage and heavy ingame sharpening effect
So, i encountered two issues:

1. Grass, trees and foliage flicker on mid/far distance quite heavily, makes my eyes bleed after 20-30 minutes of playing

2. Picture is way too sharp, it's like AA doesn't apply to visual at all.

P.S. : Running on 2560x1440/ Maximum preset

Any advice on resolving aforementioned issues is greatly appreciated :)

Sorry for necro, but I find this really annoying also, the sharpening is way too high and the trees look like sht. Maybe there is a solution.

Sadly this problem is not fixable at the Moment, a friend and i noticed this a few weeks ago, after a directx related Windows update the mid and far range Detail rendering disappeared this cause shadows, gras and leaves Details disappear at a certain distance.
Funny that not more noticed it.
I do not know if fromsoft would be able to raise the rendering distance to renew values.

Sorry for the necro post, but I found this post while searching for a solution to this problem. It was driving me insane but I finally found the issue.

It wasn't SSAO, HDR, fullscreen or antialiasing that was causing the problem. It was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NVDIA image scaling.

By default it appears NVIDIA's image scaling option also activates "sharpening" to 50%. So if you adjust the image scaling's sharpening setting (you can do this in GeForce Experience, Nvidia settings, or in their new app) and change the default sharpening from 50 to 0, and ta-da, problem solved. Hope this helps someone in the future.

I am once again resurrecting this thread because I found a solution that may solve this kind of issue on AMD cards.

I have a 6800xt and I had Frame Generation in Adrenaline on by default. I didn't think it was actually doing anything. I turned that off (only that) and the problem instantly went away. I don't think it was actually generating frames though. If anything, my FPS went up after this.
