It's 10 times a big as the CNT - and now you don't need to spoil yourself ;-)

To make it more specific: I played the CNT for 7 hours until I felt that I was "done" with an area (and even then I only scratched the surface probably).
So yeah, expect From's biggest game yet by a landslide.

I just wish they'd ballpark the overall size in miles so we can get a sense of scale vs other games like skyrim and red dead redemption. Again, I don't care if the world is massive. I'm content with medium sized worlds with more detail.

Not to be rude but why would you need to compare this game to another?
Skyrim was beautiful but REALLY lacked variety in its massive amount of caves and dungeons. If they'd tell me "Skyrim is smaller", I'd be sceptical immediately. Red Dead 2 is an even worse comparisson because that game has A LOT of plain open field (which is an intentional part of the worlds design since that game strives for realism).

Better compare this to older From titles (as Dark Souls is its spiritual predecessor) and well, its bigger than that :-) What more could you hope for?

Uhm yes it does man :-P

It spoils you how grand the world is and what kind of zones there are (because ER's map is kinda too detailed for you not to get spoiled by it).

Also a good call, might wait until after my first play through.

This is a nice looking map. I will need to edit that image to be full box, unless I want to make it artsy and have it in cascade form on the wall. Hmmm. definitely going to print it either after or deep in the first run.

Wait for release. As you seem to have pre-ordered, I would think that the guide that comes with pre-orders will have a better copy you could print out.

That or if you or someone you know got the art book, there would definitely be one there.

I have my Skyrim map framed and on my wall. I love when a fantasy game comes with a map.

When ever a developers does that, people go out of their way to prove them wrong, then start claiming they were "scammed" and false advertising. There is a good reason for them not to give exact measurements.

Imagine buying a product without knowing its dimensions though. Only in the game industry is this allowed.
