Is Anyone Else Going to Track Their Deaths?

I always forget to do this, but now that it's on my mind with only a week a way I'm starting up a spreadsheet to track a lot of my first experiences in the lands between, and this is going to include a death tracker that counts up all of my deaths per individual boss, and scenarios in between.

Is anyone else going to do something like this? Let me know! Might also give me ideas on how to better my own spread.

Hmm, I've never actually considered doing this. I die a lot lol. This would be kinda fun to do. If only there'd be way to do this en masse to compare with other people.

I also thought about this as I enjoy comparing it with friends, especially with my one buddy who happens to be the one guy that plays better than I do.

Maybe there's a way to share office excel sheets online and open it publicly, and make data cells total up to another sheet. Not totally sure! I know I'd definitely be interested to see how it goes for you.

It doesn't matter at all, just a for-funsies kind of thing. But I'll also be tracking areas I haven't explored so I know when and how I want to make exploration decisions without forgetting.

I wouldn’t want to get that deep but did previous games have a simple death counter? Some games offer those stats on your character sheet with other misc stuff. Total deaths would be nice to know.

I might get depressed if I can actually quantify all the souls/experience lost due to multiple deaths before recovery.

In Dark Souls 2 there is a stone in Majula that tells you the total worldwide deaths among all players. But aside from that it doesn't tell you.

I'd like to tally deaths for each individual boss, and link them to a cell that counts my grand total of deaths. Helps keep me organized! Especially if I ever want to do something like a difficulty ranking in the future. All for funsies really.

Hmm ER might be trickier cause we can fight bosses in different order right? (well, moreso than in previous souls games)

I'm going to start up a template and just speculate with generic names and fill out rows as I encounter new things, or at least design it in a way that lets you fill out the names yourself, so if I can put together something to start me off that i'm satisfied with I'll for sure share it.

Nah, there's a pillar in Majula in SOTFS that does this and I check it a few times but not interested in tracking as sometimes I play lamely, not caring if I die or not so I do stupid stuff.

when I like a bossfight I intentionally die, so I can repeat it. I hope from adds a boss gauntlet. it would be a damn shame but it wouldn't ruin the game either. just qol feature I hope to see.

I heard that they officially said that they were not including a boss rush.
