Any good Female Armor?
Made a female swordswoman character, and trying to find a good set of armor for her....but most knight armor looks about the same no matter what gender the char is.

Is there any sort of armor in this that looks elegant in a feminine manner? Like the "Dancer of the Boreal Valley" armor from DS3?

Or really just any set and where to find it, of any armor that would be good for a Dexterity Focused swordswoman character.

I've struggled with this issue, and unfortunately the only set that I found actually gives the right look is the Nox Swordstress set.
The primary offender is that it is impossible to make the "female" body look particularly feminine in the first place. You can maybe pull off "emaciated 12-year-old girl" if you try hard, but just about anything else just ends up as "man with covered chest".
Add onto that the fact that almost all the distinctly female outfits are dowdy robes and / or looking like they've been dragged through a sewer repeatedly... and the remaining results are very few indeed.

The Champion Set would be fine, but I don't like lopsidedness, so that one shoulder plate is a no go.
Malenia's Set is even worse for that. Yeah, I know she has a prosthetic arm, but I don't, so bollocks to that. Plus you only get it at the end of the game anyway, so is it even worth considering?

Both the Duelist Sets would be okay... except they have an inherent Shabriri's Woe effect, which I absolutely do not want under any circumstances. AND they're procured late.

The Cleanrot Set has the stupidest helm imaginable, and while I like the red tassly things, they're attached to the helm. And the lower skirts look stupid without the upper ones. Still, if you're looking for a "Brienne of Tarth" look, that'd probably be it.

Both Festive Sets? Filthy and dowdy.
Consort's Set? Filthy and dowdy.
Traveling Maiden Set? Very filthy and very dowdy.
Finger Maiden Set? A bit better, but still filthy and dowdy.

Snow Witch Set? Clean, but exceedingly dowdy.
Blue Silver Set? Dowdy. I mean despite the albinauric snowfield ladies being female, there is nothing particularly feminine about it anyway. At least it is clean. Late game though.
Queen of the Full Moon Set? Have you even SEEN Rennala? Ugh. I don't want to wear curtains. Maximum dowd. And that hat is beyond ridiculous.

Fire Prelate set? HAHAHAHAHA no. Gods no.

The Fur Set isn't too bad. The Shaman Set is worn by (large) women, but it is a bit lopsided for my tastes.

I'd honestly love both the Fire Monk sets if it weren't for that hideous cyclopean fire giant chest-plate.

SO... what does that leave?

I'd say the Nox Swordstress is the best set. It is both clean and obviously feminine in spite of the body wearing it. Night Maiden Set is almost the same thing, but with a sillier headpiece. Depends what arrangement you prefer. Both can be modified if you prefer.

Fia's Outfit is very... drapey... but doesn't look as hugely heavy-duty as most others, and it isn't too dirty (or else too black to look dirty), so there is that. Unfortunately it takes AGES to get it.

The Noble's and Traveler's Sets are okay, I guess. Not very feminine, but at least they're clean and not too heavy. Also a little late to get.

Blue Cloth Set isn't too bad, and I could maybe overlook the opening in the skirts being lopsided... for a while. At least it isn't directly on the arms nor legs.

And the Black Knife Set is cool enough that I can overlook it not looking feminine... though it is found far too late in the game to even be a consideration for most of it.

So yeah... unfortunately, short of running about naked, there isn't much choice but to go through most of the game in masculine-looking armour or rags. Or Champion if you have no issue with that shoulder plate.

For my current playthrough I farmed Kaiden gear in Limgrave... then about halfway through Stormveil Castle I switched to Exile Armor, Variant Banished Knight helm, and Cleanrot gauntlets & greaves. Heavier than I'd normally wear, and not especially feminine but it kinda hides the right parts of the body to look okay... and the asymmetry is only in the wrapping on the head / upper body.

Idk if cleanrot knights are all female like black knife but the armor looks a bit feminine to me and it looks good in general so maybe cleanrot knight armor

I like the Zamor Armor. Sadly the stats are really bad.
Or the Bloodhound Set (altered) without that dopey helmet.

Chainmail set is a staple and always overlooked. Simple, but effective.
Leather set is also good.

Are the stats even a big deal? I've played Fashion Ring so hard I couldn't even tell you which outfits have good / bad or whatever stats. Heck, my disregard for stats is so heavy I started as a Confessor for an Int / Sorcerer build JUST so I could get the outfit early... though frankly it looks too bulky for a girl.

Since Bloodborne, no.

Zamor Armor, Malenia armor, Duelist Set altered, deathbed dress. gold mask set is great for female. Outfit is mostly just comestic. The stats didn't really matter much.

You might try mixing a few set pieces. For coomer set, goldmask top and zamor legwraps. For a kind of feminine knight, I'd do maybe bluesilver mail skirt and a top that matches the color. Maybe black knife or altered scale. This also has decent defensive stats, compared to most options here.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this, but I think the altered drake knight top works pretty well for a dexterity female knight. It also interacts with a lot of leg armor and makes it thinner. A few pieces have this effect (I think zamor chest might also). Kind of like how the black knife chest piece's hood will go over a few helms like vyke's helm, but stays down for most.

There's nothing quite like the dancer's set, unfortunately. I think most of what you'd want is kind of late game anyways.

Here's a fun fact: for some reason the aristocrat's shoes have their own underwear model and it has a bigger bulge than the default male underwear model. And it's the same on male and female characters. Do with that information what you will.

If you know what you are doing, yes, night and day difference.

For example: Heavy armor + Blackflame protection + commander's standard WA = 65-75% or higher physical damage reduction. Which is massive.

You can do the same thing with a Haligrake +2, pearldrake +2 talismans, and Lords divine fortification to achieve 70% holy damage resistance (extremely helpful in final boss btw).

Armor by itself might not do too much, but when combined with the right items, spells, or talismans it can change the game.

I love the look of Cleanrot and Blackknife, but I also play fashion ring and have used Kaiden armor the entire game
