seriously, I've played this all the way through as a STR build with my weapon and shield and now been stuck on this for a week.

lvl 200+ and still 0/200 on melania. i was summoned by another player and 3 of us beat it and i zone back in to have the ♥♥♥♥♥ still alive,

Defeated her with a Colossal Sword (without summons or spirits) after 5(?) tries, level 150, its possible.

I recommend to play on a hit and run style, and if youre struggling with THAT attack, you can use Bloodhound Step to dodge it considerably easier.

I musta gotten 20 level from farming her all sortsa ng summon. If ya see me i can pretty much solo her dont get killed urself.

have you.. changed anything about your approach to killing her during this whole time or are you just walking into the fog to die without adapting in way, shape or form?
with 200 levels you can make ANY build, run ANY armor and use ANY weapon, no?

Let's be real, they're talking about her dance, which afaik can't be "skill spammed, controlled, parried, etc". People pretending she's not difficult are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ imbeciles I swear.

she hangs in the air for 2 seconds straight before the dance, which gives you clear indication for what's about to come. it can be dodged with a bh quickstep, negated with vow of indomitable or with raptor of the mists. you have plenty of tools and you don't even need them. just look at the videos above - you litterally just run away and then press 1 roll.
and she doesn't even get to do her water dance if you just don't let her. she can be repeatedly launched with giant hunt or repeatedly flattened with prayerful strike or even a simple greatbow shot.
and then ofc there are the elephants in the room called rivers of blood and swarm of flies.

i'm not saying she's easy - she absolutely is not, but my dude here is saying he been stuck on her for A WEEK. and she is not THAT difficult. thus, i'm wondering if the dude is even trying anything new since whatever he is doing doens't seem to work.

Took me 6 tries with a tear summon then a further 3 tries with 2 summons. Some brilliant guys helped me so it can be done. We all had a mix of melee and spells. Very hard fight though
