The issues I found
1: Framerate Issues - No matter what settings I use be it max or minimum, or changing resolution, the game refuses to run at higher than 60fps and constantly hovers around 30-40, even when it IS at 60fps, it does not look or feel that way, it's choppy and this results in gameplay feeling like it's covered in muck.
2: Game crashes at settings menu when attempting to re-bind push-to-talk.
3: There is no option for dedicated fullscreen
4: When signing out and attempting to sign back in, the error of "This account is not allowed to play Halo Infinite", and there is no option to sign back in. Forced to restart the game.
5: When disconnected from servers, there is no way to initiate connection in-game, forced to restart the game to re-connect servers.
6: Field of View settings, mouse and keyboard settings, and key bindings reset to defaults on restart or if the game crashes.
7: Assets fail to load after a match. Missing icons, glitched out textures, missing player model, etc.
8: Unable to use mouse to change selection in customization menu.
9: When changing limb prosthetics, player model doesn't always change to reflect chosen prosthetics.
2. So far not the best optimization, I tried Low through Ultra and there is only a 5 to 10 fps difference.
3. I wish there was full screen not just window borderless or windowed.
4. I love how the bots feel like real players.
5. I sometimes have trouble connecting to servers.
6. Everything seems to load a little slow.
(I realize this is a beta/flight)
Other than that I have been having a great time. As stated above in the other comments the performance isn't the best but I know that will change in time. Thanks for letting us play early!
Along with this, the game crashes when trying to rebind Push To Talk, and binding "Throw Grenade" to the Scroll Wheel does not change it in Game and I have to use G.
1. The menu and settings screen will flicker.
2. I had the menu go to a grey screen instead of the nice screen with the spartan.
3. Turning off the spartan chatter doesn't actually turn it off
4. More of a complaint than a technical issue but your Spartan sounds like he was voiced by Sonic. Way too over enthusiastic and kiddy sounding. Also some of the dialogue isn't great. Hearing the spartans say "over yonder!" feels as out of place as much as it feels completely unhelpful.
5. I don't like the enemy outline system to far. Since all enemies are now red instead of their actual team color seeing a red teammate running around feels confusing. Also sometimes the outlines straight up don't show and since damage and shield breaking is also now red it feels far too saturated with red. It's much too hard to tell when you've broken an enemy's shield since they start glowing red from the first shots on them. Can we get the yellow/white glow of shields back?
6. Meleeing feels off. I think this has to do with the enemy spartans not being thrown away from you like they were in previous games combined with the current beat down sound effect.
7. I'm glad there are t-bagging physics :)
8. BR feels and sounds pretty good, but I think its ROF needs to be slightly increased. Shoots a bit slow. I don't mean the interval between bursts being lowered, but the actual burst firing three shots in a faster succession.
That's all I've got for now aside from what everyone else has mentioned. More to come but enjoying it overall so far!
There's only one GPU (which it does support DirectX 12) on my pc and my cpu doesn't come with a integrated gpu, so why is it selecting this driver?
I did installed the latest drivers for my GPU and CPU, i even tried to check if there was another display adapter in the device manager (that was one of the supposed recommended fixes that i found) but nope, could only find my current GPU and everything ( according to my device manager) is up to date.
I also updated windows, and tried to check if older drivers for my gpu would work but still nothing.
