Put a rubber band around your controller in the time bomb mode on peaceful for about 5 hours

I can't help you with the cheats but when it comes to the different game modes "Speed Bomb" is the one where you make the most money overall, although the runs are pretty long, especially as it is more difficult to get the bonus for dodged cars. When you factor in time or set it in relation to the money you get "Time Attack" is probably the best choice, and you can easily average out around 2-2.5K in those 100 seconds a run takes.

Try modifying some stuff while racing, so you'll get millions in reward(maybe the distance traveled?). Just do it offline so your score won't be uploaded for rotten tomatoes. I can't remember how exactly I've used it (it was a year ago), but it wasn't difficult.

Ok, in case it's still difficult, here's how i just done it. Gee, the game doesn't keep your hard-earned saves in the cloud, how could you NOT cheat then? So...
Start the race
drive a bit for "high speed" bonus to appear, this what we're going to hack.
Pause.
In cheat engine search for a Float, value between the current "high speed" + and - 0,1. Such as if it 1,4, value between 1,2 and 1,4. Just to be sure, it'll probably work with the exact value too, haven't checked.
Repeat the process until only 2 values remain.
Edit, then ram the traffic, proffit.
