Maybe they wanted to try and snag extra sales before the Winter Sale starts, anyone know when that will be. Though it is surprising that it's 30% off within three months from launch, maybe the sales figures aren't as good as it seems.

It's a Sega game. They go on sale in like 3 weeks to a month after release so there's no point buying on release day unless you really, really want the pre-order bonuses.

Not gonna lie. I was waiting a little to get this game and was hoping it would get a discount for the winter sale, but I thought it would be at most 20% (like, some really hard wishful thinking). Feels odd seeing it with a 30% discount while for whatever reason Sonic Origins seems to be at full price.

The real question is will it be on sale during the Winter Sale, since Steam-wide seasonal events can have a discount applied regardless of time since last discount beside launch discount.

Feedback for any sales reps out there: I'll get it at full price if you disinfect it from Denuvo (or put out a statement committing to do so), or after the discount hits at least 60% as I did with Mania. 30% off with Denuvo giving it an unpredictable limited lifespan is still not an acceptable value proposition to me.
