Honestly though at the end of the day its a Sonic game and isn't much different than any other game where there are random platforms and springs everywhere. The main difference is the tech demo looking scenery as Shadow Generations feature the same layout but since it actually looks like a Sonic game it isn't as out of place.
It's not the worst thing, I was okay with the game when I put a few hours into it on console, I just wish that when they decided to do their version of Breath of the Wild, they would've also gone with a nice art style along with it.
