Any program to unlock the fps in the game? One that doesn't get banned on Steam?

What could even get you banned? There is no anti-cheat, this is a single-player game... Either way, there is a patch built into HedgeModManager

Can confirm this works. Currently running at a locked 75 FPS using Rivatuner to cap framerate. I can run higher but then my GPU fans start to get louder.

I installed the mod manager, but I couldn't find the mod that unlocks the frame rate.

Go into Codes, press Download Community Codes, and look for the unlock fps code. They should be in the Graphics tab, that's where it is in Generations but I cannot check for Frontiers since I recently uninstalled it. Hope this helps!

Yep, that's it. Generations doesn't behave properly above 60fps, so there is reasonable cause for the cap there. Forces was the first Sonic game to be uncapped out of the box, but then for Frontiers they brought the cap back even though they already designed the game around variable frame rates properly...
