bruh have you seen Ian flynn's writing?
the knuckles prolouge was absolutely fire, Flynn wrote Knuckles so well it feels like they ripped it straight out of the adventure era, He cares about his writing and how he characterizes these characters (if you dont know what Im talking about, he is the lead writer for the IDW comics) I have no doubt the story will be good (I hope this ages well)

Yeah, this is precisely why I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on OP's opinion because aside from parroting the same basic ♥♥♥♥ that we've already heard from pessimists who haven't played the game, putting Sonic Frontier's writing on the same level as the games released in the past decade tells me you likely haven't play the game at all and must be incredibly ignorant that the game now has a completely different writer than previous games, said writer that made the IDW Sonic comics so good as many readers have said.

Not everyone wants or even likes a long game, especially if it's padded out.
Even if the final parts of the game are disappointing, that doesn't make the rest of the game bad either. Is Red Dead Redemption 2 horrible because of one weak chapter? Absolutely not.
