Custom tokens
What would be the easiest route to create some custom tokens?

I'd like to make a whole tone of Age of Wonders avatar portraits into tokens for KOTC2.

First check on nexus, there are two "collections".
Otherwise you need to create png file with a size from 64*64.
If possible in circle form.
I used gimp to create a few (crop picture, then resize with a transparent background)

and put them in the graphics/tokens/player character folder in your game directory.
You can start with one of those already present and change it.

I started making them, I'll be using this: https://crop-circle.imageonline.co/

edit: I made it, 80 portraits of Age of Wonders.
I'd like to share it with the public on Nexus but I contacted Triumph Studios to see if it's ok with them.

I used this to give my party custom portraits: https://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/

Just drop a picture in there and it will turn it into a nice circular token

Nice, thank you for finding this.

I find Token Tool to be the quickest method. Just select the overlay you want (square / hex circular border), resize to 64*64 and then drag the image from google image or wherever on to the window and use the mouse wheel to resize it to the correct size.

You can create a good looking token in just a few seconds.

Thank you for this as well, not as 'user friendly' as the web based one...but it works once you figure it out. :)
Thank you again.

I will add, making one's own tokens allows for using more than just a face for a character.

Some nice easy to use tools here and advice. Thanks for making others aware so they may have more tools at their creative modding disposal :coffeeTLD:

Token tool is really retarded. Only allows to open .pdf
And the drag mechanic should stay into degenerate Macintosh territory.

To select a portrait use the menu on the right side of the screen.
Portrait Options & Change Portrait Image.
You, also, have to select the file type...'png' for this purpose.
It works, but requires some knowledge that I eventually figured out.
The advantage of this one is you don't have to be on the internet to use it.
I will add, the default ring is not practical (imho)...change it via the Overlay Options.

Alright thanks for the tips, I'll try it out later.
So I discovered that my little entreprise is null and void since one of the pack got all portraits images from AoW. lol
