Add to this the fact that many buyers were upset about this crappy move (fakku uncensored version was sold LATER than steam one, so people were forced to either double dip or keep the mosaics) which could have pushed either the devs or pub into keeping mosaics.
With that said, we still don't know what will happen in two months from now.
My guess is that there won't be an uncensored version. And yeah, good point - they might have gotten too much negative feedback about that later non-mosaic release and decided not to deal with it again. I certainly made my displeasure known, respectfully of course, and they responded somewhat brusquely to it, perhaps indicating they were tiring of it. (I ended up doing a 1.5-dip by waiting for the Fakku version to go on sale.) I think this time I'll just buy the Fakku version, because the Steam version apparently requires a patch just to get the mosaic "lewds", and if Fakku ever does release an uncensored version at least I'd have a chance of getting a free upgrade.
They outright banned me from 3 months, after I explained how anti-consumer it was, and I was one of the few fans from the west who fully supported Nounai Kanojo (former company, before Nishida Hajime left it to form the current No~Strike which develoepd this game too) by importing their games.
Anyway do what you think is more fitting for you, the game is good but stands no chances against their previous work, Josou Sennen Oukoku (which to me is the best one they released as No~Strike).
On the plus side the game is very cheap, so eh.
By the way....Josou Gakuenwas my favorite title, maybe i should try Josou Sennen Oukoku too

A non-mosaic version would be great, but to be honest
Im already okay with what we got, because titles with this kind of setting are rare, especially in the west, so im happy enough to get this
If you dont like the version but want to play the game, wait for a bigger sale
In that way you still support future title, but show that you will not support them 100% because they didnt gave you "100%" of the game
Actually Josou Sanmyaku was their first vn full trap to which I'm really fond of (really cute story with 3 very wholesome heroines) which aside from starting the josou franchise, it started the goddess x human love thing. I honestly advice about getting it once it releases (it has also more scenes, a longer story, and a proper heroine route selection + harem route).
Which Josou Gakuen are you talking about? The one they released as No~Strike (孕) or their lasat full trap one from nounai kanojo (妊) (almost same name but different characters).
Josou Kaikyou also was simply awesome, it got a harem patch post release, I believe something like 6 months later due to development issues, but it was released for free. I believe this game was fan translated by someone too.
I'm a avid japanse vn consumer from more than 15 years so I'm so used to mosaic that it doesn't bother me anymore honestly, although I can understand people being putting off by that. XD
Surpassing the question, there was this Mao Mao Discovery Team game that was removed from Steam in jsut a few days after release. I was related to the group trying to help the dev to get it aback, and that's when this info comes from.
Apparently, that dev'd permanetly lost his royalities on DLsite and, possibly, on a number of other storefronts (he'd given up very early, not like I'm going to blame him for it).
Don't take me on my word though: there could be a number of other less exquisite reasons, obviously, but, please, do keep in mind that market can sometimes be uglier than my wife.
