The saIling is super slow and takes forever to get anywhere even with a fast ship. Rather than discovery the worldmap feels like a checklist.
There is almost as much dungeon content in HG as in VT, (including dungeons with multiple floors) but finding it can be a chore for people who don't enjoy the overworld exploration.
For what it's worth, after I finish controller support, I have plans to add a number of new dungeons for both early- and late-game parties.
Thanks for the feedback, and please feel free to refund if you aren't enjoying the experience.
I did have to cut a lot of what I wanted to add to get the game released. Here's hoping I can add some of that in the future.
A guaranteed Monster Den quest, with a random difficulty, every time you visit the guild would be nice. Maybe even add a new Dungeon Exploration quest that has a chance to appear in the guild.
Add more things to do in the ports themselves. Each settlement should offer something unique be it a questline or a jungle that is randomly generated each time
Bulk trading doesn't need to be the only type of trading either. In Sunless Sea ports tend to ask for one or two of a given object encouraging players to carry a variety of things in the ship hold
Have I mentioned we need caravans and overworld land exploration XD?
If you want combat, you can fight the sea creatures, some of them board on your ship, or you can board some sea creatures(not giving spoilers); You also can became a pirate and steal other ships, or fight the pirates themselfs, there is plenty of fight (not only naval fights).
He said he will add more dungeons, awessome, second run then, now you should be more considerate about how hard is to make a game, and he did made a big one.
There is people already giving moding a try, so if moding evolve, we migh see a realy big game in the future.
Cheers.
