Use a older patch (1070), then install Microsoft visual c++ 2005.

Then update back to 1080 if wished.

Yeah, that could work. I'd also try uninstalling all of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables and reinstalling them.

control panel > programs
and features > scroll down until i see microsoft visual c++ 2005

which version of windows you have? windows 7 sp1 or windows 10? 32bit or 64bit?

Try to look for it in this directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE\Client

i cant find no Microsoft 2005 c++ redistributable Service pack 1 all i have is a compact pack of that
