Just started the game today.

Watched part 1 of the History of Liberty City on the TV in Romans apartment.

Hysterical.

Can't wait for part 2.

Memorable characters, a dark story, activities with friends and buffs from them (Roman's taxi, Jacob's mobile gun shop, etc)
and no flying bikes with rockets and other Hollywood stuffs

Sure. It's got some good depth and advanced mechanics. I'd like to play multiplayer if I made GTAC work on Linux, but even in singleplayer it's quite an experience, especially with the addition of Episodes.

I very much do, finished it a while back on the PS3, planning to finish the pc version now.

The atmosphere of this game is just special, GTA 3 comes close to this but 4 is just better. The story, characters, physics, ragdolls and the gunplay is still very fun imo compared to GTA 5's (not bad or anything but i prefer this).

Because I bought this game in Italy while I was visiting my Family with 13 year old and I still play it to this day. Much nostalgia, great story and good graphics. I replayed this game over 50 times I'm sure

literally the best open world game ever made. Still great graphics, outstanding physics, runs like butter. A nearly perfect game.

GTAV.... there's absolutely nothing enjoyable about the actual gameplay because the physics engine was nerfed to hell and back. Shooting and driving is terrible and mindlessly boring.

I feel like the single protagonist is a better approach. Sure Trevor nand Michael and Franklin are cool and all in GTA V but having more time with the single protagonist allows for the player's relationship with the protagonist materialize much more naturally. I liked GTA V but it simply doesn't hold a candle to Red Dead 2. That is their finest work.

Dude, to me GTA IV is one of the last true Rockstar experiences, along with Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA V is aggressively okay in my opinion, while GTA IV really tried to do something new, and was more focused. And playing the game again with a decent controller makes me think we really were little whiny little kids about the driving controls, they really aged like fine wine.

Just radio itself in gta4 is top notch. Shooting is great. Ragdol stuff, vehicles have weight.
