Is there a point in the daily challenge?

As far as I can tell you get nothing for doing it, despite the fact it can be hard as all hell, so why bother?
Need to give something for doing it :l

It's just for fun (+ a couple of achievements).
Personally, I think it would be irritating to have weapon/scroll unlocks gated by the daily challenges.

Daily challenges prepare you for solo play on higher difficulties. So yeah, you gain something very precious: Game sense.

I was thinking more along the lines of just some soul essence maybe, or like little one time buffs you can take into your next game.

I understand that, but at the same time I feel just playing the higher difficulties will give you that too....

I've been doing today's over and over again for about the last hour....should be simple, enemies are easier to kill (lower HP), but the Hero is also limited to 1 HP. Every time I get finally get a good build, I die. I don't know why I keep replaying, because this seems pointless. I never play solo, because the best way to build is trading weapon & scroll drops with friends

Haha well you get a chievo for doing five of them. I got one under my belt so far.
