Movement key glitch

Yeah that glitch where movement keys randomly stop working till you re-press them? There was already another thread about it and it seems like its being ignored.

I got this game when there were only two characters and I put it down because this glitch happens often enough that it is ending runs. I am not using a peripheral unless headphones magically cause it (which I am not using the same pair as back the first time I played when the glitch kept happening). This is also not a hardware issue either because its two different keyboards now as well. This also has not occurred in other games I play just this one.

I have not quite narrowed down the cause but I noticed it happens mostly out of dashes. No it has not happened while getting stunned slowed or grabbed via Decay or White Shark pull. The glitch just randomly happens when I am dashing or just strafing.

Your games awesome but I would really appreciate if this was fixed. It has gotten me killed more than once on boss fights or random situations a quick strafe would have gotten me out of something.

I've been getting that randomly. Mostly in Stage 1. I thought I might be getting stuck on enemies not in my line of sight, but that's never the case. It's only happening in multiplayer, so I wonder if there's some desync issues.

I have been getting this throughout entire playthroughs into stage 3 (have not made it to 4 yet)

Same thing used to happen to me all the time 6 or so months ago. Since then I haven't seen it at all.

could be that the game can only handle so many inputs at once.
have never had this happen to me though.

try switching from borderless or window to true fullscreen. not sure if this will fix, but it was a fix for amid evil having a similar issue with mouse presses

I am honestly thinking this is the problem but it feels weird that in several months it has not been fixed

Hello. Could you offer the game logs in which you encountered the movement key glitch?
You can find them at game folder/logfile with correct timestamp.

there seem to be only four files listed here. I have encountered this glitch at least once a playthrough at the very least. I am not sure which of these log files have experienced it as I played the game two days ago. I am assuming the biggest file would be one of my longer runs. How should I send this to you?
