I really don't get the Airbag.
What's the point? What's the downside?

See, if this thing doesn't protect you from dying to, say, two simultaneous attacks, multiple very fast ticks of damage or damage higher than your remaining shield then how's it even remotely worth anything?

But if it does then what's the downside? Even if you are at 1 when it procs you are instantly back at 100% for the next damage tick. What's the point of trickling your hp down then?

It's good with scrolls that gets stronger when you're on low hp like berserk soul (lucky shot chance increase) and persistant (damage resistance increase)

That...is actually a good point? So, basically if you get your rng right there's no downside if you actually can't get killed when shield breaks.

also great if you got any kind of shield reloading synergy, making it easier/faster to recharge your shield.

It seems to also block any additional damage beyond breaking the shield, efficiently dealing with 1 shot situations

from what I have noticed that is the game in general.

While you are essentially always starting at full health when your shield breaks, you are then draining health. So while it makes you immune to getting your health witled down over multiple shield breaks, it makes you more vulnerable to getting killed in a single shield break. Also makes bluff useless.

synergizes really well with stuff that gives bonuses the lower your health is
plus you're guaranteed full health every time your shield breaks

Also means no overkill dmg, if you have 15 shield left and are hit for 100
your shield breaks at 15 and the dmg stops there.

Flesh and Bones + Airbag = fun. Easy as that ^^. it's bummer to get it from the first boss thou because I only found aflesh and bone once before him ^^.

What does Airbag do if you have 0 shields max? Does it think "shields are maxed" and drain your health with no benefit?
