Opinion on Gemini Inscriptions

In your opinion, what are the top Gemini Inscriptions in this game right now?

Same damage type(for cat) is easily the best one to have, followed by spore( for dog).

The others really depend on playstyle and what weapons you are using.

Some weapons are better slapped with the magazine capacity.

Others benefit from the shared crit%.

Shared magazine capacity can allow for some weapons to have effectively bottomless magazines, which is really strong on some weapons like rocket launchers.

But, as Ghost said, there's really only one consistently S-tier Gemini inscription for each hero - shared damage type for Crown Prince, and spores for Ao Bai.

Ability to add gemini to guns without them would be great. As it is, I almost never even use gemini since I'm still using older guns.

Rocket launcher with reload on unequip or the scroll that does it is effectively bottomless mag anyway. Fire, swap, swap back, fire can refire very quickly. This way will also benefit from first/last shot damage up bonuses as well. I feel like anything that benefits from shared mag is better done with something else, like using advance depot to never reload and keep stacking bonuses that go away on reload.

I've made good use of the shared crit and damage type ones. Spore was okay, but I didn't get to use it with doggo yet.

Sure, but you can reroll Gemini Inscriptions. You typically don't get a choice on whether or not you get an auto-reload inscription or Advanced Depot.

I don't even know what effects they have since in games current state you are better not bothering with them as they are wonky and unreliable to get matching on both weapons

You can reroll them at a craftsman if you want to force them to match. It can get pricey though.

yes, I am aware of that but it's a hassle with potentially no pay-off so I generally just avoid it altogether and the game is not hard enough for that to matter

I mostly don't spend any money untill the last map or endboss and why should I waste 6k gold and not make the geminis fit? Given tho I'm a dog person and don't bother with the cat at all.

All of them are good in my opinion just depends on build and playstyle. I'm at the point where I don't use them anymore I just always do high crit dual wield with two laser weapons and never die

If they make it so that once you upgrade your weapon to 5+, it gets a gemini inscription (or at least the option to put it on it for, lets say, 500 coins) that would be better. It is sometimes hard to find the right one in only the last area.
