install this its a fix all file it fixes crashing sound and makes it run on windows 10/11 after install extract the file with somthing like 7zip and then place every file in it into your max pain file if it asks you when it asks do you want to replace the files with the same name sya yes then try it again

Max Payne is not running at all. It says that it is, but nothing is happening. Will this fix that a well? My O/S is a fully updated Windows 10 Pro.

yes it fixes that every time i tried to open the game steam said I was playing it but nothing happen or opened I installed this then put the files into the game files then after that I was able to get the the pre launch menu and where you get to choose your graphics and resolution and other stuff and then it ran and I was able to play it

Same for me...first installed the game but after click on "play" the launcher won't even open, the "play" button just turns to "running". I installed the Fix Pack but still the Launcher never starts...

This fix still isn't working for me. Popups still when I load a new game and the cutscene has no audio

Why can't Steam make a compatibility layer like they did with proton for these old games. I get they have a vested interest in making their little steam deck more relevant. But putting these old games on sale is kind of just trying to trick people imo. At least you can return it I guess when it fails to work.
