Part 1 chapter 7: Invisible character [SOLVED]

Lots of people have jad this problem yet I don't think anybody has found a workaround for it. The guy you're chasing seems to fall right at the begginging of the level, and for the rest of the level, his model is missing. At the elevator part, the screen gets stuck there and I can't contine the game.

Solution: use any tool such a RivaTuner (what i used) or the Nvidia video card manager tool to cap the fps at 60. That should fix any issues on Part 1 Chapter 7 related to Cognitti.

you ment Cognitti falling in between the buildings at the moment he tries to jump to the next building? And then it does not trigger the next scene at the staircase?

just go back to the top of the stairs and slowly walk over the top step until his helpers start running up toward you and be prepared for battle ;)

I got past that part, I figured out how to get past the camera on my own beforehand. Its the elevator that gets me. Since his model is still between the buildings, the cutscene on the lift gets stuck.

This happens when playing the game at a higher framerate than 100FPS. Try limiting the game to 60FPS via your video card control panel, and retry the level from the start.

Do i have to replay the game now because this happened to me and the game autosaved AFTER the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jump? dude you cant play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of ♥♥♥♥ game for 20 minutes without any problems.

You should have a couple different autosaves to choose from when loading the game. If not, you should also have quicksaves too.
If you're encountering other problems like jumps not having enough height, no sound, or game crashes, then it sounds like you haven't installed Darkje's Complete Fix Pack.

Im having the same issue but i have had my fps capped at 60 the whole time so i dont know what to do
