What is the best version?
Of Tiberium Dawn and Red Alert 1?

1 C&C the First Decade?
2 C&C the Ultimate Collection?
3 C&C the Remastered Collection?

Which one of those gets you the most complete, fun and enjoyable experience out of those games, if you have never played them back in the day at all?

Remaster for single player story mode, those others for single player skirmish mode

Both First Decade, as well as Ultimate Collection, had some graphical problems (TD actually could also stop working properly at all sometimes) while running on relatively modern OS, at least in my case. Cncnet version deals with these issues.

The remastered version is really the only one that offers anything of value.

It has better graphics, and upscalled cutscenes as well as remastered music.

The other 2 editions simply contain the original games, which are already freeware so theres no reason to buy the first two if you want to just play the original version of the game.

I have recently been playing through every game in the series, including taking a look at older versions of TD and RA. The first two you mentioned are pretty much the same, the main difference being different forms of DRM, lol.

I would say that I am more grateful than ever for the existence of the Remasters... thats for sure.
