The game was intended to rely on savescumming. If you try original games (the're free to download), you'll find these even harder (no difficulty choices in C&C, difficulty choices in Red Alert affect only prices).

Its a 25 year old game. They dont hold your hand like modern games. It is not even that hard. The Skirmish AI is laughable and the missions although often a tricky ballance are certainly not to hard.

your best bet is to record a video of trying a few missions so we can see hwo bad you are.

either you dont understand how to play, or youre really slow. show us to help

Too hard on easy? Seriously, you can play through the games drunk, high, blindfolded & asleep on easy.
I guess you never played the original game - that is what games used to be like, no dotted line telling you exactly where to go and what to do.

Just get better, then. It's worth it.

Welcome to the era of gaming that didn't carefully hold your hand and spoon-feed you victory while constantly reassuring you that you're a big boy. Back in the 90's, the approach by developers was more along the lines of "lol, git gud" and gaming was better for it.

And this.

The days when games were made first and foremost for the PC, not the console.

Sandbags are your friend on later levels... Think of them like a WWI trench, advancing the line.

Using this mod you can set your own difficulty in an INI file.

If you have played the originals, you know what to expect. I managed to complete both games in the First Decade Collection.

I agree Tib Dawn was hard as it had no difficulty slider. But I still got through it!

I can only assume this is trolling, easy almost feels like god mode imo

Try the sandbag trick and close your enemy inside their base if you have trouble , also make some defensive structures (Obelisk of Light,Advanced Guard Tower etc.) don't underestimate them, especially against the A.I.

I guess he never played C&C, so he was expecting something different and doesn't know how to play.
To the OP, don't quit, keep getting better and used to the game and you will find that easy is really... easy.

I wish there was a way to give a thumbs up to post like this. Times change. Red Alert was relased when people were suppose to figure out the game.
