Petroglyph Games should remake NOX to out shine Diablo 4

lets face it Blizzard are losing face with the way activition bleeds money out of it's gamers.
would'nt it be great if Petroglyph Games showed them how to do things again,
like they are currently doing with CNCR VS WC3

Orkhepaj I don't want every thing remastered, But Westwood games are Fun.
EA has not looked after Westwood legacey and are now some games are unplayable on origin.
Trying to play Nox and CNC games these days requires a fan/modder to get old games to work.

no gog has the same problem it requires fans/modders to update the game so you can at least play the campain

I had to look Nox up lol. I think the rumored Diablo 2 remaster would be a problem here. Whatever you think of Blizzard now, Diablo 2 was excellent and from a time when Blizzard was at the top of their game. Personally, I'd rather see Petroglyph remaster RA2 and Tiberium Sun lol

lol I didn't even care about that. I think it's still happening though. I'd consider Diablo 2 remaster if it's any good.

I get the frustration about remasters, but lets face it...this isn't just nostalgia. The old games are just flat better and often have gameplay features that are superior to what is in current games. Diablo 2 is no doubt a better game than Diablo 3 and likely Diablo 4. These C&C remasters are certainly as good if not better than anything C&C since Generals. If EA remastered Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 they would be instant hits and easily better than any Battlefield since Battlefield 4.

As good as this remaster is, I wouldn't want Petroglyph to suddenly become a literal Westwood 2.0. They didn't want that label when there were 30-40 odd Westwoodians at the company, they certainly wouldn't want it now there's only 4 or 5 left.

Petroglyph have still got to carve their own path. Earthbreakers is on the Horizon. After this remaster, my eyes are on that, not what other old Westwood IPs that can be thrown at them.

Although that said. EA handing the Syndicate Wars, Gene Wars, Populus, or any other Bullfrog franchise at Petroglyph would be an I teresting indevour. Not Theme Park or Theme Hospital though, we've already got solid modern versions.

Now it seems that the time has come for a remaster of NOX. Diablo then won, but now it's NOX's turn to win.

Not many people of current era knows NOX. I would love to have a proper remastered NOX. It was a great game with some impressive features for that day.
