Linux is Potion making!
As Linux is potion making with digital ingredients,
why is there still no native support?

The game isn't fully released on Windows yet. Until a full release happens, no other platforms are considered...
Linux users are the vegans of the computer world; they can't go five minutes without letting the world know that they use Linux.

It works fine for me, except for the Dwarf bug. On my few-years-old gaming-lite PC it's not even slow (which seems to be the most technically difficult issue to address for weaker PCs) or resource-hungry in a fan-rpm-raising way that would increase noise from the PC. So the experimental version is good, or at least it's clearly not at all completely hopeless.

But writing the code so that it runs on all major platforms at the same time from the start wouldn't be a lot of extra hassle for a game like this (i.e. not inherently an optimization diva) if the programmer happened to be familiar with them. Compared to significant amount of porting work after it's done and full of inessential platform-specific code.
