Are you sure about that? I has 8x hours in this game and never see that issue before.

Also you can try to find the solution in Google.

Playtime over 316 hours. Absolutely everything done with no access violations.
I think I had a regular crash one time but I don't remember any details.

Though I do know people get violations to things like looking at the Timefall Farm crop machines. Just never happened to me, and I'm on a modest laptop - not a fancy PC.

Just go with what SuperNiceGuy suggested, hopefully it helps.

I have 3 computers
AMD 6700XT
Geforce 1050 TI and 3080

I update all driver , when I go the third chapter , it will crash in 5 minutes (6700XT)
3080 sometimes will happen in this update , 1050TI never crash

If they fix all problem , who want's complain this
I need use my oldest and lagging computer to finish this

My game was running fine until I reached a certain area in Ch. 8. Since then, I have not been able to actually play the game without getting the Access Violation error. I've tried Reinstalling the game, Updating Drivers, Disabling DLSS, Starting a new game, Ect. I even tried the method linked by SuperNiceGuy, but a .Zip file they used is missing.

Have you possibly a corrupted installation or missing file?

It happened to me with a couple games in the past. Run the "Verify integrity of game files" option in the Steam Library.

From a game's library page, select Manage > Properties.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

Had it as well but I disabled something in nvidia experience and haven't got it since, but I agree it should have been fixed long ago by devs instead of players having to look for solution

In addition to validating your game files, update your graphics card drivers, OP. I played this game when it came out, no issues, just recently am playing it again and hit this error early on. Did both of those and the issue cleared right up.

Not sure if that was the exact crash code, however disabling DLSS stopped crashes for me.
However I'm only on chapter 2. Hopefully it runs well, I really like the game.

dude PC games have random crashes and errors. sometimes they appear or go away for literally no reason.

people say "UHH I DID THIS THING THAT FIXED IT" but it's usually just the placebo effect.

PC games are just plug n pray.

Had this problem, disabled DLSS and it disappeared.
Before that, I tried disabling overlays from Discord/Steam/Xbox Game bar and verifying files, but none of that seemed to work.
