my cargo is missing but the quest is still in progress

so i took 5 quests and stacked everything in a car ( cargo ). but had to do something and leaved my car alone. when i went back to the car there was no cargo in it ( i still have the quests but i have no cargo to deliver). so how can i get those things back?

At this point you have 2 options, first is to cancel the order and wait for it to become available again, or secondly you could wait until other players deliver this cargo for you. If other players have delivered it, you can pick it up in the share locker at the final destination for final delivery.

Players may also not have brought it to the final destination but delivered it to another share locker. Use your map to look for safehouses, post boxes, preppers, etc. that indicate there is something there for you in the share locker.
