This game's combat is just too good. I love Tekken and my main is Hwoarang/ Baek, but Rig in DOA is far superior in his moeveset compared to them.

Stun and hold system is so fun. Very refreshing take on combo's unlike Tekken where we just do air combos all day.
Interaction with stage hazards is way more fun and immersive. Uneven Terrain is still balanced and more fun to look at compared to Tekken 8. Man, all of Tekken 8' stage hazard types are all present in DOA6.

Definitely a learning curve but not as steep as Tekken's.

Coming back to this game after 5 years and seeing how much more content they have added is amazing. DOA was a staple a guaranteed title at EVOs but for some reason this game did not bode well with the competitive fighting game scene which is sad. This game is incredibly well done, very polished, inputs are very responsive, graphics and design of character outfits are probably the best I've ever seen in a fighting game.

Bandai Namco and the Tekken team should take notes on how to make a good battle pass with actual good designs worth buying. This game is just beautiful from top to bottom and the gameplay is still fun and fast paced as it has always been. I hope DOA continues to make games and makes its way back to EVO one day.

5 Years later, and this game is better than Tekken 8. Amazing.
