Safe puzzle

Can anyone explain how to decipher the Travis' safe combination? I saw the diagrams on the walls and then saw the picture on the safe when the puzzle activated, but for the life of me, I can't decipher how they possibly came up with "correct" numbers. I used the strategy guide to find the numbers to use, but I have no idea from where those numbers originated. They seem to be pulled out of the air, unrelated to anything in the diagrams.

I wish I could help, but am not there yet. When I click on the safe, there is no safe diagram. Where do I find it please? I went through all of her pinned up photos, down to the safe diagram already.

Stuck on the safe combination too.
Just wanted to say, in order to make the safe diagrams appear on the safe (aka the hint needed to solve the puzzle), you need to find all different parts of the whole picture. The part pinned behind the photos on the wall of the safe room is not enough. 3 other parts are needed and you can find them on the walls of the bedroom, on the 1st floor. When you'll have the 4 parts of the clue you'll have the diagrams pinned on the safe.

Hey Mindcrime.
Had the same problem, used solution.
But it seems if you add all numbers on 1st line : 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 2 + 4 = 36 -> 3 + 6 = 9
And the 2nd line : 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 1 + 2 + 3 = 41 -> 4 + 1 = 5
Do you think that credible ? Only explanation i found !

There are 9 circles on the left page pointing to left hand dials (5 on top + 4 on the bottom), and 5 on the right page (2+3) pointing to the right hand dial.

Some of the arrows are pointing half way in between the numbers on the dials so I guess this should make clear the points on the dial they pick out are not really relevant (particularly for the right dial - it is more like 1.4 and 3.4 on top and 1.7, 2.6 and 4 on the bottom).

This is not even the puzzle we're talking about XD It has nothing to do with clover leaves, that was a different one earlier in the game.

I'm afraid that actually is the solution. How can they create such a misleading "puzzle"??? I'm not pleased with this installment tbh, it annoys me every few inches.

Too bad since overall I like the series :-(
