Gears Tactics Won't Start

When I first got the game, I did log into XBOX Live and was able to play, but anytime I try to play with no internet the game won't work. The game goes to a black screen, then immediately tries to connect to XBOX Live, then gives me an error message. I spend a fair amount of time in no internet zones, so how do I get this thing to work offline?

Any ideas?

System requirements include a broadband internet connection. To play they require you to log in to your xbox live account, which requires internet.

Game wont work without an active internet connection... unless your xbox live login is successful you will not get the main menu

Thank you for the replies. Moot issue now, since the game won't even start now. It immediately crashes before even getting to the XBox Live error message.

I cant even login. It just says failed to login, without going to login screen.
Last M$ game i purchased.

Without an active internet connection and a XBOX LIVE account you cannot play the game

Maybe for you.. I absolutely enjoyed playing it and have completed everything there is in the game. I own the Windows store version which has no issues at all.

Your earlier comment basically was implying that I was paid by Microsoft to make that statement which is downright ludicrous to say the least.

You dont seem to fulfill the requirements for the game to run (xbox account and internet connection) and you want to bash on the game for that... yeah real smart.

Read the requirements next time before buying instead of belittling over something that everyone else who can play the game on here has abided by.

I fulfill the requirements, and it still won't run. My refund request has been repeatedly rejected, and all attempts to speak to a living person about this issue are redirected to the developer website (who redirects me back).

What is the error you are getting? Need a screenshot or more details on what the error is

+1 to the frustration of being shackled to Xbox live with the steam edition of this game. Pro tip, remove this stupid requirement when you launch titles on Steam
