I was actually just looking at WhyEms stuff now, I don't think I want to add clothing items just yet but his visuals mod seems intriguing, but I have no idea how much it will affect performance from the details I can find.
Vanilla game was that for every real time of 2 sec , was 1 min in game.
I hated when I went fishing for 10 real time minutes and half the day went by.
I changed the .ini settings so that 15 sec real time was was 1 min in game.
made a difference for me.
Another one you can check out is Gold Panning.
A little buggy, but when it works it's a nice distraction.
I would like to check out "Dynamic Seasons"
The mod adds all 4 seasons (yes... that's spring, summer, autumn and winter). Each of the seasons will have its own visual palette, temperatures, sunset/sunrise times, weather and everything else you expect with an actual seasonal climate.......
Oh yeah I'm definetely getting that now! I decided to leave the no glowing objects mod out for now because a lot of comments are reporting bugs apparently to do with scripthook. Are there any other mods that do that? Also the Jobs mod seems to have been taken down by the author a week ago.
Haven't used it much, but I also saw that this mod is currently hidden on nexus.
I'll probably remove it, I didn't really use it yet.
A couple of other ones I use.
- Automatic Greet Replies
This is a very small simple mod, that implements automatic greet replies to NPCs
When an NPC says hello to you, you will now respond back automatically
- Stagecoach Robberies
If you loved the stagecoach robberies in the game, this mod is for you as it brings
infinite, randomally generated stagecoach robbery missions, available all around the
gorgeous RDR2 map.
Look for the Wagon Wheel icon at Post Offices.
I'm guessing that this is geared towards the epilogue, considering
one of the requirements is a Beecher Hope mod.
Definitely on my radar for end game.
The Hunting Rebalance looks great, my only problem is I have had no luck getting LML
mods to work.
The instructions seem pretty basic.
I'll give it another try and report back.
Ok, so this is where I might be messing up.
- I copy the contents of the downloaded "ModLoader" into the RDR2 root folder.
- I create an "LML" folder into the RDR2 root folder.
- I then copy all of the files from a mod (that requires LML} into the LML folder
that is in the RDR2 root folder.
I then launch the RDR2.exe
Does LML need to launch before running RDR2.exe ?
So how do you specifically launch LML ?
When I use mods that just require ScriptHookRDR2, I copy the files that comes with a
specific mod to the RDR2 root folder, and if required copy any folders that come with that mod, that also needs to go into the RDR2 root folder.
I then launch the RDR2.exe and those ScriptHookRDR2 mods work.
