What happens if you completely surrender to an ambush robbery?

Anytime I've been ambushed by highwaymen, I've always fought back, and basically any video of someone encountering them is the same. But the option to surrender is there. Obviously they are there to rob me but has anyone ever completely surrendered to bandits before? What happens if you allow them to rob you, do they attempt to kill you anyway? Or does your character automatically say something before they can leave that triggers a battle?

they just rob u , and some times they will knock u out , then u wake up and see a money icon saying u lost 200$ or so .

be careful tho , there is a specifc encounter with some robbers at saint denis , where he tells u to follow him somewhere , then his friend comes out from behind u , and knock u out, then u wake up at a different place , with ZERO money , so if u had lets for say 10000$ u lose them all , and no way of getting em back , and no counter to them so u cant shoot or run , just if someone in saint denis asked u to follow em , just decline or kill em XD .

Fair question I guess but ....why would you surrender lol . I don't need much encouragement to draw on people in this title.

Forget robbers I shoot bounty hunters and backup police despite having $500 bounty on my head

Don't ever surrender to robbers they just loot u

It is. The one in the alley in the little China town area in Saint Denis. You can go back to the general area later and there's an encounter where Arthur recognises the guy that stole from him. Much like that other robbery you can loot their body to retrieve your muneh.

No it's the same one.

You are wrong, there are two seperate locations, one location you can find the criminals again, but the other location they do not appear.
