Anybody else had the same horse for the whole main game?

I stole a grey mustang from some d-bag in the first main chapter after the mountains and she has been with me up until this point in Chapter 6. I am super attached to her; once I accidentally punched her as soon as I loaded the game and had to reload the game immediately because I couldn't bear to live with her memory of me punching her ha ha ha.

(I know the upcoming spoilers dw everybody.)

FWIW I highly recommend the mustang as she is very sturdy over rough terrain with good stamina and doesn't frighten easily like those gaddamn pansy arabians. I had two arabians but I couldn't stand them constantly grumbling at every distant bear so I sold them.

Who else has used the same horse for the entire main game, and what breed is it?

Mostly the white arabian because .. anything else that's is worth a damn is locked in stores till damn near the end and then you lose them all anyways lol.

However now that's its done and I have my pick I find it kinda ironic that the horse I favour is the free dappled black thoroughbred I was given with my version that I dropped asap for the white.

Stunning coat, race handling, max speed & not as skittish as the Arabian's, just lacks in stamina and health but at lvl 4 and plenty of horse supplies and kit that is not really an issue playing in epilogue.

i found an grey arabian horse near valentine in chapter 1 and use them the whole game , a very good horse

Yeah I kept the original kentucky saddler the whole way through the story, made one of the missions really hard but meh, I just wanted to get through the story missions at that stage.

I didn't even realise horses could be permanently killed outside of missions until after I had finished the story and was exploring properly.

I mostly kept and used my cattlemans revolvers and repeater rifle through the whole game too, which made a certain prison mission a bit of nightmare.

Depends on what you want, I want acc, speed and handling for a fun ride, not Buell's strengths.
If the horse goes down, meh, that's what revive is for.

Buell is in one of my stalls though. I have been thinking on sending him to the glue factory for a turk though.

He's got higher stamina and health than the black arabian and is far less likely to spook being a war horse.

I have magic potions in basically unlimited amounts due to 20k given at the end of the game with nothing to spend it on.
All my horses have great health and stamina and yeah, I feel ya with the Arabian's, skittish twitchy B**tche's.

That's nice dear but I'm referring to the stamina and health stats not the cores. Buell at level 1 has more than half his circles filled. Even a level 4 black Arabian doesn't max out this amount. Buell does.

By your logic horses become almost redundant at the end of the game because you can just fast travel everywhere and the cost of it doesn't matter anymore.

i've had the same 2 horses since the beginning , i keep the morgan at camp unsaddled as a temp , he comes when i call so i use him to carry carcasses on hunting trips , so i always can get 3 perfect carcasses and a ton of hides, i see no need to get another horse

I never said anything of the sort lol, I said I liked a horse for the traits I am looking for and there are "Magic Potions" that mitigate their flaws to a point.
By all means ride what you enjoy, the way you want to ride but I made no mention of fast travel or a desire to bypass riding horses in any post.
On the contrary riding is my favourite feature of this game hence my priorities as stated are handling, speed and acc.
