I got a 1080Ti and a Ryzen 5 3600x on 1440p and the game is complete bonkers with anything above medium, like it won't even run right. There's flickering, tearing, audio completely cutting off, long load screens followed by broken rendering (lots of NPCs piling on top of eachother and the world not fully rendering), it's absolutely broken on my end.

With a 2080 RTX, i9-9900k at 1440p and all settings maxed (advanced settings I kept default / locked). Also enabled FXAA and MSAA:

min: 3.85 fps
max: 127 fps
avg: 27.76 fps

minimum 3fps? average 27fps? thats unacceptable for a 2080

The 2080TI seems to be just about the only card to do 60fps, even then only on High 1440p, and no more. If you max settings it'll crush it.

Skip to 13:35 for 1440p @ high. Same chart that has cards like 5700XT and 1080ti doing 48fps 1% lows. This game isn't worth 30$ in its current state.

No, Vulkan is better for all both Nvidia and AMD.

Well what did you expect? You enabled MSAA. MSAA is a frames killer, dumbo, and you don't need it. TAA is good enough, especially for 1440p.

Also this games Ultra settings are made for future hardware. Game looks amazing even at medium settings, way better than on consoles.

At 1080p ultra he is getting 60+ frames mostly with a few dips, and GPU usage at 90%+

Game is very very GPU hungry.

lol people are going bonkers over demanding game. Welcome to PC. My first was quake back in 1996. I had to get a new device called a graphics card. I was mad.

With default settings and the quality preset level to the maximum (not touching other settings):

min: 4.21 fps
max: 61.42 fps
avg: 58.56 fps
