WOW!!!
dont be such a fanboy and defend the game so much. the crime/honor system is really bad.
and yes ometimes people attack you for no reason..you just touch someone with your horse and they start shooting you
Agreed. Prefer to just not have it at all. Miss my Witcher 3 days when I could just loot all the houses and shop keeps as the NPC's just stood there like statues.
Ooh and dont you forget van horn. Guy starts talking ♥♥♥♥ to you, then punches you for no reason and half a minute later whole damn town is shooting at you.
You probably managed to tick off a civilian.
Yep, I spent probably an hour killing npc's over and over again to drop my honor low enough to do the outlaw missions for RDO story missions. And just doing horse maintance twice put me back in honorable status.
Yeah, that's the only problem with trying to keep low honor. There are far too many things that give you positive honor. Just skinning/collecting animals gives you honor for being "resourceful". Cut that out and the honor bump from feeding/brushing your horse, and then I think it'd be about the same amount of effort to gain honor as it is to lose it (but probably still a bit lopsided).
Wish I could, but I brush my horse so I'm stuck in high honor forever. Staying low honor is frankly to time consuming for my taste.
What's the point of your statement???
The honor mechanic is clearly flawed,at the very least it is unpolished, what are you arguing about?
If a guy shoots me first, I should not be the one accounted for...but that is what has happened to me every time I got shot.
But as the system is flawed, I can get away with 0 consequences....does this mechanic seem ok to you?
I dunno about you but most times you antagonize people they're pretty justified. They're on their own and some nutjob's rubbing his horse against his repeatedly and not leaving.
The only fault is that online characters are dumb mutes just like GTAV so you can't use the defuse option singleplayer has afaik. If you don't want civs attacking you then be conscious of your surrounds... like an honorable person.
Rob someone in the darkes allyway in the history of dark allyways, they will know its you, Arthur Morgan and put a bounty on you. Use a mask you say? Mask schmask. Works "sometimes".
I get it, I do. Behave like a douche and expect to get shot but jeez! What about the absolutly infuriating mecanics of "jump to horse" when you are passing someone on horseback? out in the wild, no problem. You just stear away. In the narrow streets of Saint Denis? Not so much. Iv gotten myself into some hillarious situations cos i had to "spur" my horse so hard to get out of that "jump to horse" bulls#¤% that my horse catapults forward, straint into a carrige or som haplesss pedestrian crossing the streets, causing instant pandemonum.
What im saying is that this system feels unfair. Rigged agains the player. Puts a dent in the fun. Its not stopping me from enjoying this game. I havent had this much fun since Witcher 3. But, I think it is important to point this things out.
