yes same here, DX12 run very poorly on my rig, vulkan somehow runs this game way better "for me".
i'v seen people say otherwise, just shows how badly coded this game online version really is, there is absolute no LOGIC for that.
And my GOD rockstar, i just crashed again when shopping in your game (online) if you dare to open 3 or more shops in a row same town, 100% freez and you need to alt F4 out of the game! seriously FIX THAT SH!T

Go into apps and features
Click on optional features
Click on add a feature
Download graphics tools
Red Dead Redemption 2 settings
Navigate to \Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings
Open the system XML file
Change <API>kSettingsAPI_Vulkan</API> to <API>kSettingsAPI_DX12</API>
Change <vSync value="1" /> to <vSync value="0" />
