You say that people have wanted it since day one and that's why the game supposedly is "bleeding players" yet this game has done nothing but grow during these past 3,5 years. I think you need to find a new argument.
i jumped on sot the other day, played for 1 hour, encountered only 1 ship (galleon) that refused to pvp and sailed into the red sea. i saw no "growth" on the seas that day lol
2. why have a thing of Megalodon/Kracken Meat?
Fix the game then ask for votes.
Where are you seeing the game growing? it's at an all time low in average players on Steam with actual metrics that matter. The 20 million total players announcement? That's a PR metric that isn't actually relevant to a game's growth. If anything that number says more than you may realize. If 20 million players have logged in over 3 years of being out (Forza did that in under a week), and the player base has actively been in a downward trend since it's steam release where we can actually see the numbers, take in consideration achievement unlock percentages and xbox tracking on trueachievments, yeah the game isn't growing like you are thinking. But I may be wrong, I am only going off off statistics that are real numbers based on active players. Accounts don't necessarily mean players since anyone could make as many accounts they want, being part of the total number, but only one active player.
