Is it even worth my time to try to solo through Plat?

Recently reinstalled the game after taking a whole year break, spent the past week soloing from Rookie IV to Plat IV and already I have anxiety about trying to push through Plat. Ranked used to be miserable to play alone after Gold, and I'm curious if it will still be the same?

Just so you know, usually losers that can't play the game cry "cheaters" all the time when they get killed, especially by a controller player, which are predominant here. Haven't seen a single cheater in months. Just com play the game and enjoy it or uninstall it and be done with it.

Solo to Plat is pretty easy if you're decently good, the problem is the fact you get teammates who think they're faide and wanna drop fragment every match despite half the lobby going there.

already got to Plat, just having my doubts about getting through plat to diamond on my own. I can never find people to play with, all my friends quit this game long ago. Gold was really annoying on my own but not difficult, I just feel like it's probably not worth the pain and the -60+ penalty every hot drop game that goes wrong with r-slurred teammates

It was easy until platinum.. then I hit a wall of skill issue teammates that I really question how they even ranked up at all. But yeah, been playing a lot for the last week (im always solo queue) and its been like 2-3 games lost at start due to hot drops or pathetically dumb deaths then 1 win once and while.. I literally never had this much trouble in the past. I'm just barely keeping a stable RP rate enough to not derank, though it varies widely

Maybe get some irl friends, play a bunch different games on lan, decide if it's worth anything to register a team.

Solo play is fun, it's competitive cause the match maker tries to give you challenge based on the rank so you not flying through pub games and being an @$$ to people still learning the game.

So no, you don't enjoy Apex, thus you are complaining here time to switch to another game or wait for the next season to repeat the same loop of your life back to Plat again.

No its not worth it solo. You need at least one friend you can communicate with. There are three stacks all over the place in ranked and you will get destroyed by three separate people.

Unless you want to prove something to yourself, there is no reason to rank up in this game. Just concentrate on having fun matches. I run solo and it's a nightmare having 2 completely useless teammates that the game expects me to carry constantly. It's just not worth it. Got to the rank I wanted several times, now I DGAF if I cap out at Gold/Plat/Diamond for the season as long as I have fun playing.

Maybe but anything above Plat is utterly overrun with cheaters. You will absolutely not make it to Pred without cheating.
