could you provide a bit more details? what is your cpu and ram (speed and amount)?
having a lot of tabs in browser could also affect this.
if this is new, there might also be a new mobo or cpu drivers that could affect this, having new motherboard drivers can cause a bunch of issues with pc performance
my pc is pretty old, but I was playing alright a few days ago.. i56600K - 16GB ram.. I know it's old, but as I said this appeared recently. The new thing is the "system process" that's running 25-30%.. Apex itself is 50-60% or so.. But you might be right, this is a drivers issue possibly.. I haven't done any updates on motherboard or cpu drivers lately
The game has bad optimization on CPU cores, apparently its common on 4 & 6 core cpus but not necessarily limited to them.
There was two recommended fixes, to limit cpu power to 95%, or to set affinity in task manager to 2 of 4 cores or something similar... personally im just waiting for them to patch it.
