Whats wrong with wanting another character to associate with? He isn't wrong, EA's intentional focus on diversity has left the options for each individual character's representation kind of lacking. If you want to play a straight male your choices are between Caustic or Revenant who are Josef Mengle wannabes, or an effeminate male (Mirage) who is often the butt of the joke. For those who enjoy the immersion of Apex the character pools diversity is important, and while EA has been very inclusive they have left many desirable character archetypes unavailable. Not even factoring in the effectiveness of their kits in their game; Caustic being left behind, Revenant being to oteam reliant, and mirage often just being a minor annoyance. @thatbitchyouhate

I think they could have went about saying it better, but you aren't thinking about the characters individually. All the heterosexual masculine male characters are ineffective as team players as of recently. Not to mention their lack of diversity in their personality archetypes (evil killers). They don't attack women they just says they want more characters who are like them. They aren't even correct about Bloodhound; Bloodhound is Gender Neutral. @thebitchyouhate

I honestly don't see the big deal, okay, if the season 9 character is going to be a woman, yes, it sure will be boring, but you play a certain champion for her skills. Not because it's male / female

It rather appear to me devs want to add variation of character personality types, not all just "I'm a big boy" type of scenario that you wish for. Because then, we'll just have all bulky muscular characters. And truth be told, as company that want to grind as much money, they want to appeal to much variety personalities as they can.

We just got Fuse who is literally the stereotype male action hero from the 80s, cheesy as ♥♥♥♥. If you just find Fuse "ok" but not "bad ass" like you mention Caustic then what you want is not "bad ass" but edgelords, which is fine, it's your preference.
