Apex doesn't launch till update

Hi,

since the update my game don't want to launch. The window with anti cheat pop up and close after 10 seconds.
The game was working before the update is someone has got the same problem ?

My rig : windows 10 64 and gtx 670 GPU

I've tried the dx12 option on the launcher but doesn t work.

I have the same issue. After update game doesnt run. I reinstalled game twice, make check files, clear cache but nothing helped

Check steam launch option. Could be bugged after update if you saved the launch setting earlier.


1. right click apex legends on steam library
2. Select Properties
3. Under general properties the laucnch options should be either empty or have line like

to force DX11

-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX11.json

To force DX12

-anticheat_settings=Settings.json

if you used SettingsDX12.json earlier on the launch options, the file does not exist anymore. Its just Settings.json after update.

Same, after the anti-cheat pop-up window disappears, the r5apex.exe process is simply terminated without any errors.

Launch options are empty, and tried both variants for force launch, but the game doesn't run.
