These 'banned for no reason' threads

Ok so i decided to make on of these posts also , not to complain or ask the steam community for assistance or guidance but mostly to support others claiming the banned for no reason threads.

I have noticed on steam discussions especially that 90% of users post toxic and unnecessary comments in reply to these threads as i would assume nobody believes them. I also understand that by them creating such thread it leaves them vulnerable for that abuse as nobody here could actually offer proper help.

Does everyone not notice the sudden influx of 'banned no reason' threads? Here , reddit , EA answer forums etc .. Is that not cause for suspicion alone? As far as im aware since apex moved to steam it has left a lot of origin accounts unused and unsafe (especially accounts that were only used for apex) and didnt have login verification enabled.

It is a free game , i get it but these accounts are being compromised played on with cheats and inevitably being banned. So no, not for no reason but banned for cheating.

I too am going through this whole drama of sorting it out with EA TOS , i have locations, dates , times and ip address of my account being compromised .. It has been 3 weeks a few support tickets and a live chat today i forwarded my evidence and they will investigate.

For banned users if you need evidence of your account being hacked follow these steps.
1. Open Origin click origin top left
2. EA help & billing
3. Your EA data
4. Request a download ( once file is ready download it)
5. Open the downloaded .json file with notepad
6. Scoll all the way down to the bottom and find all your login information , there you will see if there were failed and successful attempts etc

Use the above information when opening a support ticket with EA as proof.

Hopefully this information would prevent future 'banned for no reason' threads as users can now read this and use it to create a case with EA and not try get help/abuse here .

EDIT : After 3 months I have been unbanned.

People can get banned sometime because of bugs and some errors , I was of the opinion that everyone who is banned is responsible for it but then came PUBG and in one of the bugs if you watched the replay of your death you'll get banned , this has changed my opinion . People should understand that a small group of banned people aren't at fault . Thanks for your effort to help that small group .

Not really. having cheat engine which can be used for debugging purposes as well than just cheating, alone can get you banned in some games despite that you weren't even running it at time of playing.
While I do think 95% of bans are legit, it doesn't mean there are no false bans. (even legit one can be the one with hacked account these days, though shame on them for not even considering to implement 2FA on their accounts)

Banned for cursing ! most likely bc i dont know how to cheat. Thanks for you info. I submitted a request. also my girlfriends account is level 160. im level 5 now. saw online that could get people banned if we play togther and she kills low levels constantly

No I don't believe you can get banned for playing with her and she kills low levels

You don't get permanently banned for cursing , it's a 24h temp ban , if you still curse the value keeps increasing .

If you have legit proof of someone cheating screenshot uploaded to imgur. We aren't spelling their name out in here, but my discussion should have plenty of images of the cheaters.
