They were really able to make a working ranking system that really gives rankings meaning.
But at the same time, they managed to kill the fun of the game.

I am a solo player and I love competing with other players.
I do not consider normal modes, and different events are just for fun, nothing more. It's not serious at all.
And only ranked gave me this feeling of competition.

Last season I finished on master, although I play maximum for diamond.
This season I was sent to the rank of "rookie 2", and I'm just in shock.
When I kill 2 enemies and 2 of my teammates with 100% shields fall against 1 enemy 5-10 games in a row, or run away 1 in 3...
My ass is on fire.
I understand that by climbing higher in rank there will be better partners, but these -50 spoil the mood terribly.

The developers said that there would be more points for elimination.
For killing 1 player I got - tada - 1 POINT! ONE!
We got 10-15 points for eliminating squad!

Nah, I did some games and I received 50+ points for kill assists... You earn more it seems on kills depend on your top. Top 10 first you earn no points, then your kills and assist can actually give you points, like 5-2' points it depends on 1) kills 2) assists and also 3) if someone in your team killed someone and you did nothing ...
