Voice Chat in Slow Motion

tbh I tend to end up muting sqauds as most people in this game just want to spam racist/disgusting things in the voice chat for no reason.

But the odd game where it seems like a cool team ive found the last month or so that the voice coming through is in slow mo.

I did a search online and saw posts going back to 2016. A lot of them said it was realting to having the beta in steam enabled but I don't have that and others advised the same.
Any idea if there is a fix for this or ???
