Welcome to the new gaming world where people think they good because a system is aiming for them. Imagine there are still people who defending aim assist. Their excuses are that they can't hit movement with controller. Pfff, imagine forgetting about Scuf controller where you can bind basically everything and you only have to click one botton.
I feel your pain, too. But really? They won't nerf it.
You would think that someone who is confronted with something new is bad at first and has to get used to the new one. Maybe you can say that the game knowledge (movement, position) has supported me, but trying to do that with a new input is difficult to implement. However, I had no problems fighting other enemies with my mate. And that's obviously a problem. And that showed me that (even though I've already had a lot of experience with the game, but couldn't really implement it with the controller except to run into the zone on reasonable path) you don't have to have a clue about the game to win fights.
What I want to say with everything is that it's not hard to change the input as an MnK player and you can handle it faster. However, when controller players switch to MnK, you notice that even if they practice with it for a long time, strangely enough, they can't cope without aim assist. Constantly this "then switch to controller if it's so easy", well many do, but no one does it the other way around. Weird. And I thought PC gamers could do so much more than controllers (Movement, Tap Strafe, more control about short to long range etc.). I've been wrong since SCUF Controllers and Strider Packs have been around.
Sorry for the length of the text, but as a long-time shooter player, this is really frustrating and a shame. It just has to be said.
