why cant apex players use a mic ?
seriously why the fudge is apex the only game where 85% of the playerbase cant figure out how to usea mic ??? either adjust your sensitivity or use push to talk, there is zero reason i should hear your keyboard all game long, the game itself coming through your mic or what ever else you have going on in the background

Because apex legends has the worst ingame voice that has ever existed.
A lot of players have so much wisdom to share that they must keep their mic on continuously because pressing a push-to-talk key could be life and death. Bro! Look out! And no one explained that you can buy quiet mechanical keyboards and adjust your mic sensitivity. Bro! Look out!

The mic option in Apex are so bad that you need to turn it up to 100 % on voice out.
If not we will not hear him/ her when they "push to talk".

Maybe others don't want to hear you screaming at your mic for stupid reasons? Ever thought of that? And don't get me started on people who have their mics on all the time but don't actually talk, so you only hear them breathing, sneezing, coughing, plus the echo from their game... Lovely.

If you're with friends, sure, use your mics. But with randoms? No thanks. The ping system exists for a reason.

heavy breathing, clicking keyboard/mouse, chewing gum or eating something and then a loud ass burp, more chewing lip smacking. guys microphone must smell like vomit a million times over :carnage_disgust: hes the one that will get you perma banned for calling him a tard ♥♥♥♥♥, EA's special child

Muted voice some time ago since it's nothing but toxic kids yelling or someone having open mic and panting on the mic non-stop.

I had the thing on from the beginning of apex until few seasons ago and had perhaps dozen good encounters from mic users and hundreds of bad ones.. so the overall experience
is much improved by having voice chat off. If they had a keybind to mute the voice chat mid game without having to jump through hoops, I'd still have it on just in case of an good encounter.

Sad to loose the occasional good experience, but clearly not worth by long shot with the amount of negativity in the game and respawn being incapable of putting on keybind.

i have 2 reasons, they mic options are ♥♥♥♥ and i play on controller so its kinda awkard to push to talk when needed, and i don´t want to be that teammate that plays with open mic with background noises/doing noises myself. They should add a push to mute/unmute so its easier to press it during fights.

it' because Windows OS is a big BS and to make mic to work without any NOISE you need to finish BA in programming

You are seriously delusional if you're blaming the OS...

All you need is to set the mic threshold properly, which is EASILY done in the OS or whatever program your soundcard is using.

If you need a BA in programming to change the mic threshold, you're in for a wild ride in life dude.

because most players will DC-ing after 10sec from their death/knockdown-ed
TTV.Karanga_ Oct 14, 2022 @ 6:31pm
maybe people dont use mics because most of the people that do only use them when they have been downed to start talking ♥♥♥♥ to others and because the ingame audio isnt that great people talking on a mic might also not help you hear that sweaty ttv wraith coming up behind you to one clip you

It works for everyone else who does not have a BA in programming, why can't you make it work?
I am idiot for stating the obvious?
Well, you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron for not being able to change some settings...

you being too stupid to grasp obvious sarcasm is somehow not surprising

I don't want to use a mic cause most people using it are dumb idiots that get mad when you cant 1v3, so not only im not using it but also i immediatly mute everyone when entering a game. That's not a coincidence that there is a button to litteraly do that
Mawi Oct 15, 2022 @ 4:00pm
I started recently to mute all team mates for reasons above, I'm not interested hearing some eating noices, breathing, bad music or microphone from the 90's. 90% of time there is nothing valuable that they could say. There is a ping system in a game, it is enough for me atleast if I need to communicate with others.
