Their name is taken from Icelandic not Norse.
Its fine when some one is wrong, but try not to use mental gymnastics to get yourself out of it.
If you use google you can even see it for yourself.

Norse can refer to a lot of things, but when I say "Bloodhound is Norse", I don't mean that their name is from the ancient language, I mean that their culture is reminiscent of the common cultural ancestry of Scandinavia and Iceland.
Bloodhound does in fact speak Icelandic, but they are not from Iceland, they are from Talos, which has a predominantly Norse culture with some East Asian influences.

Old Norse language is largely dead, so it would be strange to assume that when I say that both I and Bloodhound are Norse, I am referring to the language rather than the cultural origin.
Ok? :)

My bad, I keep confusing Norse with Norwegian.
Makes more sense indeed.
in terms of gender/apex canon, they are non-binary.
In terms of sex, it's a man.

Why? His background story as a child is him going out into the wild to slay a great beast to prove himself and help his community. A very manly archetype.

Not anymore.
who cares what his pronouns are
Hey guys. My favorite character is Pathfinder. It has no gender because it's a robot. Let's be friends. Let's not hurt each other's feelings. Only shooting, maiming, and killing.

Yeah. I don't know anything about his name, but I thought it was pretty obvious that his culture was Norse when he prays to the "All father" and has ravens which are Odin's sacred animal.
