yes visually it seems more appealing but that might just be placebo. i dont have problems with fps as its always above 100 but i have a 60hz monitor so it doesnt matter

dx12 uses more gpu power so it would be wise to use dx12 if you have a more mordern pc since they usually have a cpu bottleneck. it should result in more fps.

i stutter but thats just because of the bad network in my location, closest server is in eu and thats 140ms on a good day, goes up to 200ms quite often

from my own testing Direct X12 is cleaner and smoother in term of graphics and colour grading.

Optimisation :)

My CPU-Usage has been reduced from 50% to 42% and - like others told u before - it feels smoother.

Remember:
The old DX12 command has been changed to
"-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX12.json" without "" in Launch Options

Have fun ;)

do i have to input the launch option command or just set it in properties?

It should provide a smoother experience, if, you have a strong CPU and a GPU that supports DX12 and is above the recommended system requirements.

If your CPU is not strong - you will not notice a difference or it will be worse.

No properties.

Just put in Launch-Options in Steam and u get at start the question if u want to use dx12 or normal.

I can run the game above 240 fps at 1440p with dx11 or dx12, but with dx12 there is very noticeable input lag with my mouse. So I use dx11. It's noticeable across all my mice. Viper V3 Pro, UltralightX, Sprime PM1, and Lamzu Thorn.

It's not placebo,
DX12 has far less latency than 11, and many DX12 GPU's prefer 12 to 11...

Take the elastic off your controller LT

dx 12 also has some hardware extensions and shader code dx 11 can't run.

essentially, on paper, if your CPU has more than 4 cores (the 3700x features 8 cores), it is advisable to utilize the DX12 version, as DX12 can leverage the additional cores for enhanced frame rates and stability. However, the game itself tends to be quite unstable in both DX11 and DX12 modes. I conducted a brief benchmark and discovered that DX11 is more stable than DX12, but I suggest running your own test on your PC to obtain the most precise results. Apologies for the lengthy explanation.
