I lost all my characters and skins.....
And the game ban has nothing to do with this game.
And I didn’t cheat in the other game it was because I flamed out a ttv streamer who was good friends with a developer. I didn’t know at the time.
She got me banned.
A lot of players are getting banned for no reason. I was offline for a whole year, and I never cheated or even sploited anything and yet i got a ban
1. change your password and set up 2FA on your account.
2. submit a ticket to support to verify your account was banned in accordance with their policies.
security breaches happen, who knows what is leaked. you might've clicked a malicious link in the past. google "Origin/EA security breach" if you wanna inform yourself. typically, companies are required to inform consumers directly, usually via e-mail respective to your account, if there was a breach on their network, so your e-mails could be something to check in the 1 year you've been absent, assuming this is a possibility of your account being compromised.
as for "solving this issue", it's at Respawns discretion whether or not the ban was appropriate. majority of the posts i've seen had the ban as the correct action. from my understanding, people who have not been active on their accounts are the main ones being targeted (because less activity means less chance for the account owner to notice a hacker is using it). they either use the account to cheat with or sell the account to cheaters, which is why it looks like someone used it from another geographical region.
in the end, learn from your mistakes. hopefully these security measures aren't taken lightly in the future, as they also reflect on things that matter, like a bank account. convenience and security will never be on par. the higher the convenience is for consumers, the lower the security. the higher the security, the lower the convenience. 2FA will mitigate the chances of your account being compromised, so i suggest to exercise it.
here what's EA reply to me.
Hello,
We saw some unusual activity on your EA Account.
To keep your EA Account safe, we have reset your password.
What happened and what do I need to do?
After noticing potentially suspicious activity associated with your EA account, we reset the password to protect your personal information.
We don’t think the suspicious activity is from unauthorized access to EA databases. We think it may be related to issues like phishing, using weak passwords, logging in from shared connections, or using the same password on multiple websites.
To unlock your account, reset your password using the URL link below, or select “Forgot your password?” next time you try to login to your account.
We also recommend enabling Login Verification, which checks for new or unrecognized accounts when you sign-in, to fully secure your EA Account.
You will need to reset your EA Account password to log in to your account and use the online features of our games.
